Enhancing Performance

Hiring a Coach

Overview

Why undertake executive coaching with me?

Leadership can be both rewarding and challenging. Whilst many leaders appear confident and successful on the outside, they are often navigating complex decisions, competing demands, difficult conversations, and significant responsibility behind the scenes.

Coaching provides a confidential space to step back from the day-to-day pressures of work and think more clearly about what is happening for you. Together, we will explore your strengths, challenges, goals, relationships, and leadership style, helping you gain deeper insight into what is supporting your success and what may be holding you back.

My role is not to provide all the answers, but to help you think differently, increase self-awareness, and develop practical strategies that enable you to lead with greater confidence, effectiveness, and authenticity.

Coaching can be offered remotely or in-person in Brighton, Sussex.

My Coaching Approach

What Lies Beneath the Surface?

I am specifically trained to work with clients in exploring aspects of themselves that may be driven by unconscious patterns, assumptions, motivations, and beliefs. Together, we consider how these deeper dynamics may be influencing relationships, decision-making, leadership style, confidence, and performance. Greater self-awareness often creates opportunities for meaningful and lasting change.

A Space for Reflection

Many leaders and professionals spend their time supporting others, solving problems, and responding to competing demands, with little opportunity to pause and reflect. I provide a confidential, non-judgemental, and supportive environment where clients can think more deeply about themselves, their experiences, and the challenges they are facing. Through reflective practice, clients often gain new perspectives, challenge limiting assumptions, and uncover important insights.

Authenticity, Values and Strengths

Coaching provides an opportunity to reconnect with what matters most. Together, we explore personal values, strengths, motivations, and aspirations, helping clients identify how these can be better aligned with their professional and personal lives. By building on existing strengths and developing greater authenticity, clients often experience increased confidence, effectiveness, and fulfilment.

Sustainable Change

Insight alone is rarely enough. My coaching focuses on helping clients translate self-awareness into practical action. Together, we identify meaningful goals, develop new ways of thinking and working, and create sustainable changes that can be integrated into everyday life. Throughout the process, we review progress, reflect on learning, and ensure coaching remains focused on what matters most to the individual.

What is my approach?

By combining my training from the Tavistock Institute and KDVI, along with my expertise as a psychologist, I offer a comprehensive coaching approach that addresses the psychological dynamics, values, strengths, and goals of individuals in the workplace.

As part of the regulated psychologist profession in the UK, my coaching approach is based on the latest science and research in personal development.

The coaching I received from Helen made such a difference in how I view myself and those around me. Many of the coaching sessions focused on understanding patterns I had not realised were being repeated time and time again but in different settings and with new people.

Over the course of the coaching, it was as if a light had been switched on and everything just started to make sense, I shall be forever grateful to Helen for taking the time to work with me on this. I can see the difference it has made in how I now interact with my team.
